Material in the Sharpe Properties Website and any other Internet web site owned, operated, licensed, or controlled by the Sharpe Properties or any of its related, affiliated, or subsidiary companies (together, “Sharpe Properties”). This Privacy Policy governs only the Sharpe Properties Website in the United States and does not cover websites for any other subsidiaries and affiliates of Sharpe Properties (collectively, “Affiliates”)

Sharing of Information with Service Companies–  One of the most valuable assets of our business is you. Sharpe Properties is not in the business of selling information about Users of the Sharpe Properties Website. However, if there is a value for our clients, we will share your information or send you messages on behalf of another company as described below. We will also share information for security reasons. Sometimes companies may be hired by Sharpe Properties to facilitate the sales or delivery of products or services, such as a shipping company for the delivery of packages or promotional literature. Registration for Promotions may require the submission of your first and last name, street address, city, state and zip code, email address, telephone number and date of birth. Additional Personal Information may be requested depending on the specific Promotion, but submission of such information may be optional. Opt-Out Procedures Regarding Promotions and Offers – Sharpe Properties or advertisers, may contact you or other Users who have registered for, or participated in, various Sharpe Properties Website events, Promotions, or transactions, or we may send offers for the purchase of service or products that may be of interest to Users. You may “opt out” of receiving marketing and promotional e-mails or text messages from us at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in the email. However, we, or our Affiliates, may continue to contact you via email for administrative or informational purposes, including follow-up messages regarding the administration of your account, any services, features or functions you have enrolled in or registered to use, any Promotions you have participated in or have entered, goods and/or services you have ordered, or other transactions you have undertaken by way of Sharpe Properties Website. Content Partners– On occasion the Sharpe Properties Website may provide content that is created by a third-party partner website. As Sharpe Properties continually looks for ways to improve its business, we may buy or sell a company. If we buy or sell a business, the names collected will likely be transferred as a part of the sale. Information about registrants will be used in the aggregate. However, if we buy a business, we will honor the requests that customers made of that business regarding e-mail communications. In the event that we sell a business, we will do everything in our power to ensure that the e-mail communications requests you made of us are honored.

Google Analytics Features - Sharpe Properties uses Google Analytics features based on Display Advertising (e.g. Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, the DoubleClick  campaign Manager integration or Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting). Visitors can opt out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customise Google Display Network ads using the Ads Settings.

Sharpe Properties will not facilitate the merging of personally-identifiable information with non-personally identifiable information previously collected from Display Advertising features that is based on the DoubleClick cookie unless you have robust notice of, and the user’s prior affirmative (i.e. opt-in) consent to, that merger.  Visitors to our website may also use the following Google tool to opt-out: Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Sharpe Properties use Remarketing tools in the form of:

  • remarketing
  • interest categories
  • similar audiences
  • other types of interest-based advertising
  • demographic and location targeting

We will not run interest-based advertising campaigns that collect personally identifiable information (PII) including, but not limited to, email addresses, telephone numbers and credit card numbers.  We will not use or associate personally identifiable information with remarketing lists, cookies, data feeds or other anonymous identifiers.  We will not use or associate targeting information, such as demographics or location, with any personally identifiable information collected from the ad or its landing page(s).

We will not share any personally identifiable information with Google through our remarketing tag or any product data feeds which might be associated with our ads.

We abide by the policy for sensitive categories outlined below:

  • When creating a remarketing list, we will not use any sensitive information about our site or app visitors, whether you collected it directly or associated it with a visitor, based on the visitor’s profile or behavior on our site or app
  • Restrictions on list creation may apply to both individual web pages and entire websites or apps
  • Ad content may not imply knowledge of personally identifiable or sensitive information

We acknowledge Google may include in-ads notice labels to disclose interest-based advertising to our users

  • Google reserves the right to display to users which remarketing lists they’re on, along with the corresponding domain name

  • We can implement our own in-ads notice with written consent from Google, and the label must comply with relevant industry standards

We have implemented Remarketing with Google Analytics - Sharpe Properties uses Remarketing with Google Analytics to advertise online.  Third-party vendors, including Google, may show our ads on sites across the Internet. Sharpe Properties and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on someone's past visits to our website.

We have implemented Google Display Network Impression Reporting and/or the DoubleClick Campaign Manager integration and, accordingly, disclose it in our privacy policy - Sharpe Properties and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to report how our ad impressions, other uses of ad services, and interactions with these ad impressions and ad services are related to visits to our site.

We have implemented Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting and, accordingly, disclose that - We will use you use data from Google’s Interest-based advertising or 3rd-party audience data (such as age, gender and interests) within Google Analytics to target interest based advertising to visitors of our site.
